Studylink is a non-profitable co-operation between the Universities of Telemark, Agder and Gjøvik to create an open meeting place where one can discuss and exchange experiences as well as disseminate information about national financial incentives and guidelines. These three institutions wish to increase the knowledge of how to cooperate with Chinese institutions in order to assure good quality and reach common goals.

Study in Norway has great attractive

春节过后,留学市场又热闹起来。记者从相关留学机构了解到,挪威、芬兰等北欧国家正在成为留学新锐,不少中国学生选择往北走。

尤爱琳,studylink中国项目负责人,从2004年起开始从事中挪间高校交流事务。“刚开始,我们每年只招30名攻读硕士的学生,近两年申请的人越来越多了,我几乎没两个月就要来一次中国。”春节前,尤爱琳随挪威代表团访鄂时向记者介绍,目前已有150名学生经studylink介绍到挪威攻读硕士学位,他们中有近120人已顺利毕业,其中90%留在挪威工作或继续读博士,“湖北学生中已有3位博士毕业了。”昨日,尤爱琳通过网络接受采访时表示,下个月她又要来我省面试新一批留学生。

北 欧国家的官方语言有不少不是英语,因此中国学生在选择留学国家时,要关注各国各学校的不同要求。以挪威为例,公立教育免费,外国学生在挪威上大学与其本国 学生享受同等待遇,还可以合法打工。但公立高校本科专业以挪威语授课为主,部分硕士专业用英语授课。挪威还要求留学生至少有一年在本国的大学经历。“所以 我们更欢迎本科毕业生来挪威读硕士,”尤爱琳介绍,挪威高校开始给留学生的硕士专业均为全英语教学,学制两年,以理工科为主。

记者了解到,挪威公立大学多数秋天开学。想去留学的学生最好在2月底之前递交申请材料。因为所有的签证材料都要寄往挪威移民局审理,留学签证时间为1至4个月,所以,应及早动手留学申请有关事宜。赴挪威留学不需要经济担保,但签证时要有汇往挪威8万挪威克朗的汇款证明。

2008年5月12日,一场突如其来的灾难降临到了中华大地,无数遇难者失去了他们的生命。5.12地震是唐山地震后的又一次旷世灾难,但是这场灾难并没有让中国人失去信心,我们也无时无刻不在用实际行动证明着自己作为中华家庭一份子的责任和义务。

灾难发生后,挪威各界华人也都迅速组织和动员,参 与到抗震救灾、义卖募捐活动当中;同时,中国驻挪威大使馆还向各大院校、各大团体的中国留学生发出了号召,希望我们能够行动起来,组织各种形式的募捐活 动。作为泰勒马克大学的中国留学生,大家都积极的行动起来,从网上搜集了大量的资料和信息,制作了多张宣传板;同时,我们还联系了学校、红十字会以及当地 警察局,希望能够得到他们的许可,允许我们上街组织募捐,同时希望他们能够提供协助。期间,学校管理层以及工会还向中国大使馆捐款2笔总值达到数万克朗,我们在学校的募捐箱也收集到了数千克朗的捐款,可以说,我们的所有工作都得到了泰勒马克大学的大力支持,在这里,我们深深的感谢那些在困难和灾难降临时,曾经帮助过我们的挪威友人。

5月24日,我们的募捐申请得到了批准,所有泰勒马克大学的中国学生都走上街头,参与到募捐活动当中。我们在整个市区安排了三个地点进行募捐,同时还有同学在街上散发传单,虽然天气阴霾,下着小雨,但是大家的干劲是火热的。整个募捐活动从早上10点起,一直持续到下午5点,无数挪威友人慷慨解囊,为灾区的受难者献上了自己的爱心。很多挪威友人还在记事簿上留下了他们的祈祷和祝福,希望灾区人民能够克服困难,重建家园……

在中华民族最需要帮助的时候,众多外国友人伸出了他们的援手,无数华人的行动也证明了“一方有难,八方支援”的道理。在这里,我们要感谢那些泰勒马克大学、感谢那些为灾区同胞慷慨解囊的人们,感谢所有为灾区同胞奉献爱心的人们!

New agreement with Harbin Institute of Technology

The University College of Gjovik has signed a new agreement with the Harbin Institute of  Technology (HITSGS), Shenzhen Graduate School. On Friday the 27 of March a delegation from The University College of Gjovik visited Shenzhen Graduate school, one of three campuses of the Harbin Institute of Technology.

 "This is a continuation of the agreement we already have with HITSGS, but through this agreement we hope to achieve research co-operation and student exchange", says Professor Rune Hjelsvold.

Skiing trip 2009

12The April 17 2009 was the most waited date by all international students. The Telemark University College had organized the winter trip for all international master students. All international students gather at Jotunveien parking area at 14:00 to take part in winter trip. The trip coordinator by Atle, our Norwegian language teacher, he welcomes all of us at parking area. The bus move form there around 14:30 towards the destination ‘Frøystul’ high. It took about two and half hour to reach our destination. On the way it seems everybody was enjoying the natural view of Norway. Most of the international student may not have been to the hill side of Norway. We saw many frozen lakes, rivers, forest and many more. Finally we reach at our destination where Atle had booked cottage for us to spend two nights three days. Atle booked four cottages at different location. We divided into four groups and went to our own cottage. The cottages are  located close to each other, most of us went to visit the other cottage and have some gossip.

Preparations underway for 2009 Hubei-Norway Week

hubei_week_logo“Hubei-Norway Week” is currently being organized and will be held in Telemark, Norway from 07 - 10 September 2009 with the objective of establishing networks and bridges between the two provinces. This event is the continuation of the successful activities in Norway in 2005 and Hubei in 2007.
