Hubei-Norway week was successfully held in Telemark of Norway in 2009. This year Norway-Hubei days are arranged at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai of China on 12th and 13th of October. After this event,
from 15th October, professors of HiT, UiA and HiG will visit:

Harbin Institue of Technology  哈尔滨工业大学
Huazhong University of Science & Technology  华中科技大学
Wuhan University of Technology  武汉理工大学
Hubei University  湖北大学
Wuhan University  武汉大学

In between, they will give interviews to those who have applied to study in Norway.

荆楚网消息 (湖北日报) 应挪威泰勒玛克郡政府邀请，由省长李鸿忠率领的省政府代表团6月2日至6日圆满完成了对挪威的访问，于6月7日返回武汉。

6月3日，李鸿忠省长在首都奥斯陆出席了“2010挪威湖北船舶招商推介会暨签约仪式”，挪威斯考根、瑞典伊萨集团等中外30余家企业出席了推 介会。两年前，李鸿忠省长率领的代表团曾在瑞典举办以船舶工业为主题的大型商贸推介活动。此后，北欧相关企业进一步关注湖北，一批企业与项目相继落户我 省，配套园区进展顺利。此次推介会上，省商务厅武汉船配园、武汉百步亭分别与斯考根集团、瑞典伊萨集团与武汉船配园和挪威Perpeto签署协议。根据协 议，瑞典伊萨集团将在武汉船配园投资建设造船及大型工业用焊接及切割自动化生产线，为我国造船、核工业、发电等装备制造业提供先进制造设备，计划投资 4500万美元。挪威Perpeto公司将向武汉百步亭环宇进出口贸易公司购买价值3800万美元船只。

访挪期间，李鸿忠省长会见了挪威贸工大臣吉斯克先生，省长向吉斯克先生介绍了湖北省经济发展情况。他说，鄂挪在经济领域有较强互补性，开展经贸 合作具有广泛前景。

会见中，双方就进一步拓展双边经贸合作的 具体方式和途径达成共识。吉斯克对湖北经济发展态势表现出极大关注，并表示将尽快访问湖北。在奥斯陆期间，李鸿忠省长还访问了挪威石油能源部，就拓展鄂挪 双方在新能源领域的合作深入交换了意见。

代表团随后来到我省友好省州泰勒玛克郡。李鸿忠省长与赫尔格森郡长共同签署了2010年10月省郡共同举办世博会湖北馆“挪威日”活动的合作协 议。代表团还考察了泰勒玛克大学的新能源实验室，并与泰勒玛克大学达格校长就开展在生物质能、氢能源和二氧化碳采集等领域里的合作交换了意见。代表团还考 察了新能源企业、港口、环保机构以及波什格伦高中等当地教育机构。

在泰勒玛克，代表团所到之处受到当地各界人士的热情欢迎，充分感受到省郡友好关系深入人心的发展，这是两省郡长期不懈努力的结果，也是发展持续 友好务实合作最坚实的基础。 Written by Hubei daily.

Her name is Yu Yu. She got her bachelor degree in “Computer Science and Technology” at the University of Electronic Science and Technology (UESTC) of China.

She wanted to study abroad so after she graduated, she took a two years master program in “Information and Communication technology” at University of Agder, which is located in Grimstad, a peaceful and beautiful town in south of Norway.

While she studied for two years at UiA, she got the chance to work partime for a company called Integrasco. Integrasco is a leading company, within “word of mouth research” and consulting. Integrasco uses advanced technology in data crawling and other crawling technology for collecting useful information based on social media such as discussion boards, forums and blogs to help our client improve the quality of there products and their services. China as the biggest populated country, has a huge number of people using networks. In order for companies  to understand how to work in China and develop potential China market,sheI was asked to establish a representative office in Chengdu, China.

Vice Governor of Hubei, Mrs. Zhang Dali and    Governor Gunn Marit Helgesen were delighted to announce    during the Hubei-Norway Week 2009 in Telemark, the deepening of cooperation between the two regions by together arranging  Norway-Hubei days at Expo 2010, Shanghai, 12th-13th of October.

The two parties has developed cooperation within higher education and research, within several fields including Environment, Information communication technology and Health in addition to maritime technology, culture, tourism and businesses.

2009年11月17日,挪威studylink项目顾问尤爱琳女士，特勒马克大学工程学院Rune Bakke教授等一行三人应邀来到哈尔滨工业大学深圳研究生院，向生命科学学院、资源环境学院等相关专业的教授和学生作了题为“Biogas Processes Optimization”的学术报告,还介绍了挪威国情及特勒马克大学的基本情况,并和老师同学们进行了长时间深入的交流，收到了非常热烈的欢迎。

Telemark University College (HiT) has signed a new agreement with the Harbin Institute of  Technology (HITSGS), Shenzhen Graduate School. On Monday the 16 of November 2009, a delegation from Norway visited Shenzhen Graduate school, one of three campuses of the Harbin Institute of Technology.

 "This is a significant agreement we have with HITSGS, and through this agreement we hope to achieve research co-operation and student exchange", says Dean of Technology Faculty,  Ole Ringdal.

From 11.Nov.2009 to 20.Nov.2009, the delegates from Agder University, Telemark University Colloge and Gjovik University Colloge including 9 Professors, 2staffs and 1 student visited China. They officially visited Harbin Institute of Technology, Huazhong Institute of Science and Technology, Beijing University of Post and Telecommunication and some other cooperation Universities in China.  Norwegian delegates and Chinese colleagues had an active and successful meeting in every University, the professors from both side insisted to deepen existing cooperation in researches and students. They also established some new collaboration such as paper share and researcher exchange.

Welcome Dinner

In the evening of 6th Sep. the amphitryon held a ceremonious welcome dinner at the famous cooking school of Telemark for the guest from all over the world.

Before the dinner, the Governors from the two friendly province gave different speeches that showing the same best wishes to thisexchange activities.

 Round table meeting in Porsgrunn City Hall

The Round table meeting about sustainable cooperation between Hubei Province and European regions was hold at Porsgrunn city hall on 7th September 2009. China and several European countries (Norway, French, Holland, Spain, Sweden and German) attended this significant conference.
The main topic of the meeting is high-diversity cooperation and communication in the areas of education, economic, environmental technology and industry. Government representatives from different countries and regions  displayed achievements, wishes of expanding contacts and proposed some valuable ideas for the further reconstruction seperately.

The Voice of Love

At 9:00 tuesday, 8th Sep., the "Health group" visited the Habilitation Center for Children and Youth to exchange some method and experience on curing the children with disabilities with Norwegian professional staffs.

After the discussion, the visitors talked with a disabled child to feel how the Norwegian system works. The result interested them because they the child can take care about himself.

Exhibition of Hubei Intangible Cultural Heritage

After the Opening Ceremony, two governors  presented the ceremony of Exhibition of Hubei Intangible Cultural Heritage in Porsgrunn High school, together with all the high school student.

During the ceremony, VIPs cut the ribbon for the Exhibition of Hubei Intangible Cultural Heritage. This activity  symbolized the Civil Communication and Co-operation between Telemark and Hubei  had reach a new level and will develop healthily and smoothly.

On May 2009, the counseller of Telemark Gunn Marit Helgesen accompanied by some other representatives went to China and visited Hubei province for some goodwill. They have presented at “Calling for Green China” conference, an international conference of environment protection cooperation. They have also paid a visit of the Tongji Hospital and some universities located in Hubei.

The University College of Gjovik has signed a new agreement with the Harbin Institute of  Technology (HITSGS), Shenzhen Graduate School. On Friday the 27 of March a delegation from The University College of Gjovik visited Shenzhen Graduate school, one of three campuses of the Harbin Institute of Technology.

 "This is a continuation of the agreement we already have with HITSGS, but through this agreement we hope to achieve research co-operation and student exchange", says Professor Rune Hjelsvold.
